Hi!!
Well the tour is beginning to wine down and will shortly be coming to a close (in 2 weeks to be exact). Anyways as I sit on the bus traveling to our next city I’ve started thinking a lot about what is next to come in the next chapter of my life… Prayerfully something wonderful! Well, a few weeks ago, we did our last full week sit down in our nation’s capital… yep…. Washington D.C. It was the first time I had ever been to D.C. It was great… the exciting thing for me is that you can walk around capital hill, and the White House like it’s just your average place in the neighborhood. I encountered lots of people running while I was doing a ton of sightseeing!
We’ve also just finished performing in Newark, NJ! This was the time that I was able to walk the streets of New York City again. I would like to call it my city but I find it only fair that I don’t since I was not born there. I was really excited to perform at the NJPAC because my friends in New York got to see me perform. I’ve noticed that I no longer seem to get super nervous like I used to when I would perform before. I mean, I know most of you thought that I probably never get nervous… but you’re wrong! Most performers do… the edge may be a bit lighter after doing it for so long but there is always a split second where I think about what I am about to do just a bit too much. The main reason why I was excited/nervous was because most people who know me don’t realize that I sing and dance at the same time. So yes… after doing this show I do consider my self a singer dancer… in training! LOL j/k! But truthfully I hope to master singing and dancing in all forms.
Well I originally started this post a few days ago but I am finishing this now because I can’t sleep and I am a couple hours shy from the longest bus trip I have ever taken… Easton PA to Knoxville TN… then to Little Rock! Lord, give me strength. Until next time…
Amber
