Week 2

Hey everyone!  First and foremost Happy Thanksgiving!  I know I'm a couple of days late but better late than never right?  Anyways, this week I experienced my first set of one nighters!  They're definitely very different!  After our last show in Colorado Springs we headed for Greeley Co. to do a show.  Then we had a 5:30 am departure time to Richfield Utah... It was one long ride.  Our trip time in total was close to 15 hours!  I slept so much on the trip to Utah!  I was so happy to see a hotel bed!  We then left Thanksgiving morning for Las Vegas!  The ride to Vegas was pretty nice.  I'm learning more and more that America is so beautiful.  We drove in between mountains for a long time but the cool thing is that every mountain is different.  Some are snow-capped and then some are red rocked and some are just mounds of dirt and sand.  It's amazing.  Vegas itself wasn't all that I had expected.  It also rained a bit in Vegas.  I did have fun though.  I went to the Bellagio and saw the water show.  It was gorgeous inside the Bellagio.  Vegas kind of reminded me a bit of Times Square but of course smaller and more drunk people.  LOL!  I also visited Ceasar's Palace.  It was magnificent!  I would have loved to shop but I still want to wait to see what will be in L.A for me to buy.  Well, now I am in Palm Dessert!  Once again... GORGEOUS.  It's so sunny, warm and beautiful.  There are so many palm trees but just outside of here lies mountains which mostly look like they're made out of sand.  Here we are doing 5 shows in 3 days.  Last night was the first show and it went very well.  I still have 2 today and 2 tomorrow and a 5:30 am departure time on Monday for Oregon... so yeah...  I'm mentally preparing myself from now for long hours on the bus... but I know everything will be fine and since I am with such a great group of people, the bus ride doesn't seem so bad! :-)   Well until next week...
